I am a struggling writer. I have no shortage of ideas, but I suffer from a severe lack of feedback... outside opinions... and... well... discipline. =) Yeah, I know, what else is new? (Preach it, Sister!)
Contradictorily enough, I'm a Liberal Christian who follows the Spec-Fic fandom. I voted for Kerry. Heck, I even voted for Gore. The country is in for a rough ride, but it's not going to keep me from living my life. All I know is the "I didn't do it" Kid didn't get his 'mandate' from me.
I will be discussing my writings, my thoughts on religion and the bible, and anything else that seems right to share. I have a fictional world I've been working on for a long time, and a story that I can work on that takes place in it. It's not part of the main cycle of the world, but "The Blood Rose" still a good story, and it provides the name for the blog.
I need people who can help me edit, cheer me on, and just provide thoughtful comments on the posts. If that's you, I'm hoping that you'll stop by, and maybe stay.
